PHOTOS: A 20-foot boat caught fire and was destroyed just after it was launched in Bolles Harbor Sunday night. Capt. David Nadeau of the Monroe Township Volunteer Fire Department said firefighters were able to keep the burning vessel from floating into nearby Trout’s Marina where flames could have spread and caused much more damage. The incident occurred at the DNR access site and boat launch around 7:15 p.m. Sunday. Nadeau said the fire department’s boat was launched and the crew was able to maneuver close enough to toss a chain with a grappling hook on the end onto the burning boat.
