A motor fire at the Marathon Petroleum fuel terminal in Genesee Township led to closure of multiple roads in the area. Firefighters with the Genesee Township Fire Department responded around shortly after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 25 for a report of a fire at the fuel terminal located at East Coldwater Road and North Dort Highway. “It appears to be the motor that operates the gate system," said Genesee Township fire Chief Burt Robere on what led to a small fire at the site. Dort Highway was closed from Carpenter Road to Stanley Road along with closure at Coldwater Road and Bray Road and Coldwater Road and Coldwater Road and Harry Street.
