The Quincy Fire Department will be staffing their station around the clock in response to the COVID-19 pandemic through at least the middle of April. The department said in a post on their Facebook page that a crew of at least three medically trained personnel and a fire engine operator will be maintained at the firehouse who will be able to respond to calls. When they are not running emergencies, crews will be assigned equipment and building sanitizing chores. They will also attend several daily COVID-19 webinar trainings and briefings and assist Branch County Emergency Management in logistical needs or anywhere else they can lend a hand to the Emergency Operations Center.
