Five people were transported to local hospitals Thursday morning after a car crashed into a truck on St. Clair Highway.
Around 7:30 a.m. Thursday, the driver of a Chevy was eastbound on St. Clair Highway west of Indian Trail Road when they rear-ended a truck that also was eastbound on St. Clair Highway, St. Clair Fire Chief David Westrick said.
Westrick said he didn't know whether the truck was moving when it was struck. The driver of the Chevy, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and the driver of the truck and three passengers were transported with non-life threatening injuries to local hospitals, Westrick said
The Michigan State Police, St. Clair County Sheriff Department and Tri-Hospital EMS also responded to the scene.
