A unoccupied single wide mobile home trailer was destroyed in a fire west of Bronson on Monday afternoon. Bronson Fire Chief Scott Wilber says Bronson firefighters were dispatched to the fire at 1126 Hollow Road just before 1:30 p.m. by Branch County 911. Fire crews arrived to find the mobile home fully engulfed in flames. Wilber says it was being used for storage rather than a residence. The structure and contents were a total loss. The Branch County Sheriff’s Department also responded to the scene. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently undetermined. Firefighters cleared the scene at about 3:55 p.m..
