Battle Creek firefighters were able to put out a fire at a restaurant on West Columbia Avenue on Thursday.
Firefighters were called to Hogzilla BBQ Smokehouse, 889 W. Columbia Ave., after a report of a fire was called in at 8:36 p.m. Jan. 21, 2021.
When crews arrived, heavy smoke was pouring from the building and they were able to put the fire out, but not before the flames burst through the roof. Crews said there was no one inside the business at the time of the fire. They were still looking for the cause of the fire.
