PHOTOS: Fire officials in one West Michigan restaurant community said a restaurant was ruled a total loss following a heavy fire Saturday July 31, 2021.
Multiple fire departments, including the Dalton Township Fire Department responded to a fire at Los Lagos Mexican Bar & Grill on 6012 Holton Rd in Twin Lake near Muskegon, around 9 p.m. Sat. July 31.
On its Facebook page, the department said crews encountered a significant amount of smoke and flames in the kitchen area, where the fire started, according to a fire department representative.
Fire crews said they had to enact a defense strategy due to the age of the building and numerous empty spaces inside.
Nobody was hurt, officials said.
