Two people were displaced on Tuesday evening after a Ypsilanti house fire damaged two rooms.
Firefighters responded to a small structure fire shortly before 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14, in the 600 block of North Congress Road. The fire, which was under control by 6:30 p.m., caused $25,000 worth of damage to the structure, fire officials said.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. The fire occurred at a residential home that had been subdivided into apartments, officials said.
Residents were home at the time of the fire, and two residents were displaced by water and fire damage. There were no injuries or fatalities.
