A Good Samaritan rescued a victim from a fire in a St. Paul Park home Tuesday, according to authorities.
The fire occurred at the intersection of 5th St. and 14th Ave.
A Good Samaritan saw smoke coming out of the home at around 1:30 p.m., called 911 and ran into the home to rescue one victim, St. Paul Park Fire Chief Kurk Lee said. A second victim was able to escape the fire on their own.
The two victims and the Good Samaritan were transported to Regions Hospital, Lee said.
The Good Samaritan suffered burns on their hands.
