Three-vehicle crash along Highway 13 leaves three injured near Prior Lake

A Prior Lake man suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted from the scene of a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 13 and 220th St. E. on Saturday, Aug. 17. According to the Minnesota State Patrol report, at 5:43 p.m., John Patrick Mullenmeister, 66, of Prior Lake was traveling northbound on Highway 13 in a Kia Soul when he was struck by a Ford COF Pickup traveling eastbound on 220th St. E. that failed to stop for the stop sign. Mullenmeister sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted from the scene by a LifeLink III helicopter and taken to Hennepin County HealthCare.
