The hype is palpable for the second annual “Guns and Hoses” charity hockey game. Bragging rights are at stake between the Rosemount Police and Fire departments at 6 p.m. March 23 at the Rosemount Community Center. It sounds like the fire department has some unfinished business. Fire Chief Richard Schroeder said last year it got a bit out of control. “I think the police brought in some ringers last year,” he said with a laugh. Last year, the police department had to pull in a few friends to fill in the rosters, who turned out pretty to be pretty talented skaters.
