A house in Rice Lake suffered what is being described as "significant damage" following a fire Tuesday afternoon. According to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, firefighters responded to a house on the 5100 Block of Gortin Road around 5:30 p.m. Six fire departments battled the house fire. Authorities say no one was injured in the fire. Foul play is also not suspected. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office and Rice Lake Fire Department.
