An early morning house fire at 1401 East 10th Street in Duluth caused an estimated 75 thousand dollars in damage to the structure and contents. Duluth firefighters responded to the blaze around 2:30 a-m Thursday to find fire coming through the roof. All family members and pets had evacuated the building and no injuries were reported. The family was unable to remain at the residence due to extensive smoke and water damage. The cause and origin of the fire is under investigation but it appears to be due to an electrical problem.
