Grain in a dryer at Millville Feed Inc. caught fire on Monday night. The blaze at 360 Division St. in Millville didn't last long. By the time Wabasha Sheriff's deputies arrived a little before 8 p.m., people at the elevator had extinguished the blaze. Firefighters from Zumbro and Elgin helped remove an estimated 1,000 bushels of grain from the dryer bin to check for hot spots after the fire was put out. Personnel on the scene stated that a faulty grain dryer likely caused the fire.
