Police say an explosive was thrown at a Minneapolis home Sunday morning. Minneapolis Police said it happened at about 9:56 a.m. in the 2100 block of Second Avenue N. According to police, a 911 callers said a man threw a container of a suspected liquid accelerant at the house, causing a small fire. Firefighters arrived and quickly put it out. The suspect fled before officers arrived. No description was given. An investigation is underway.
