The Eden Prairie public safety open house set to be held 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, will be held indoors with cold and wet weather being predicted.
The event is scheduled to be held at Fire Station 1, 14800 Scenic Heights Road.
Those attending will get an up-close and personal look at how the fire, parks, police and public works departments serve the community.
Despite a forecast of cold, snow and wind this weekend, the open house is on as scheduled. All displays will be moving inside Fire Station 1.
Attendees can watch demonstrations, visit information-packed booths, collect giveaway items, climb on the equipment and enjoy refreshments such as root beer, cookies and hot dogs.
