One person was severely injured in a Sunday morning apartment fire in Cloquet according to the Cloquet Fire Department. Fire crews responded to the area of 810 Cloquet Avenue around 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning. Upon arrival crews found an apartment filled full of smoke and learned a victim was possibly trapped inside. Firefighters were able to locate and safely remove the occupant. The fire was quickly extinguished in the apartment. The occupant was treated by paramedics and transported to a Duluth hospital for severe injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
