A Kansas City firefighter was injured Saturday night while battling a house fire on Troost Avenue at 117th Terrace. The fire was called in just after 8:00 p.m. Firefighters say the flames started in the living room and spread upstairs. A firefighter fell through a hole in the floor when he entered the home. He got a minor burn to his back and was taken to the hospital, but is expected to be okay. No one was inside the home when the fire started. The cause is still under investigation.
