VIDEO: The Duenweg Fire Department held a special re-dedication today, August 1st, to their districts building. The building, which the department has been operating out of for the past 30 years was officially renamed ‘Jack D Reding Fire Station’ in honor of former Fire Chief and current Deputy Chief Jack Reding. The new name was a surprise recognition and dedication given to Jack by his son, current Fire Chief Howard Reding. Duenweg also declared August 1st as Jack Reding day. “I know he’s very shocked he didn’t expect to see the amount of people that showed up and it was just awesome the turnout, so many people came from a long ways away to pay tribute to him and it was just an awesome thing” said Fire Chief, Howard Reding.
