Bozeman fire officials are investigating what caused a work trailer to burn Tuesday afternoon. No one was injured in the fire. Graver Johnson, of the Bozeman Fire Department, said a structure fire call came in around 12:30 p.m. When firefighters arrived, they saw a white work trailer on fire in front of a house on Curtiss Street. Johnson said he could see a black plume of smoke from the fire station. “It was working pretty good,” he said. The owner of the truck that caught fire was standing at the corner of 12th Avenue and Curtiss Street. He declined to give his name. He said that he and a coworker left for lunch around 11:50 a.m., and when they returned about 20 minutes later the trailer was on fire. The man is a window installer and said there were mostly tools in the burnt trailer. The trailer’s roof and one side of it were completed destroyed by the fire. A propane tank could be seen near the trailer’s opening among other burnt things inside it.
