The Missoula City-County Health Department (MCCHD) is reporting 47 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases since the Wednesday update.
The number of active COVID-19 cases has risen from 303 reported on Wednesday to 308.
A total of 7,371 COVID-19 cases has been confirmed in Missoula County including 7,003 recoveries and 60 COVID-19 related deaths. There are currently 15 COVID-19 hospitalizations being reported including eight county residents. That is a drop from the 19 reported on Wednesday.
The average of daily new cases per 100,000 has dropped from 38 on Wednesday to 37.
The MCCHD goal is to bring that number down to 25/100,000 people for two consecutive weeks or more.
