An 18-year-old Polson man is dead and two others are injured after a single-vehicle crash near Pablo Saturday night around 10:30 p.m.
The Montana Highway Patrol reports that a 2006 Ford Mustang was driving Southbound on Secondary 354, a backroad near mile marker 6, when the driver failed to negotiate a left hand curve and drove off the right side of the road. The vehicle then contacted a rock embankment, overturned and came to rest on its tires facing west.
The victim who died was wearing his seatbelt.
The other two victims were a 19-year-old male and 18-year-old male. According to MHP, alcohol and speed are suspected factors in the incident.
Road conditions Saturday night were noted as bare and dry.
The incident remains under investigation.
