Funeral arrangements and procession details have been announced for a teenage volunteer firefighter who was killed while en route to a water rescue in Stanly County. Visitation for East Side Firefighter Dakota Snavely, 17, will be held at the Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle on Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Fire apparatus at the visitation is discouraged due to parking. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Anderson Grove Baptist Church in Albemarle. Fire Departments wishing to participate in the funeral procession and enter Anderson Grove Church Road from the 24/27/73 side and have apparatus in place bt 10:30 a.m.
