Former Tryon fire chief and town manager Joe Davis has pleaded guilty in a fraud case. Davis was accused of using town credit cards to pay the bills of former Tryon council member Roy Miller in 2016. Miller pleaded guilty in April and was sentenced to 41 months in prison earlier this month. Davis' sentencing hearing has not been set.
