Seventeen people went to the hospital following a CATS bus crash north of uptown Wednesday morning. The wreck happened before 8:40 a.m. on Beatties Ford Road near Cemetery Street. A vehicle, which was overturned when officials arrived on scene, was also involved in the crash. Charlotte Firefighters advised people to expect significant delays in the area. Medic says they took 17 people to Carolinas Medical Center with minor injuries.
