Firefighters battled a house fire at a Bretton Street home for the second day in a row Friday. On Friday evening around 5 p.m., firefighters worked to extinguish a fire at 1388 Bretton St. No one was home at the time of the fire. Firefighters brought the fire under control in about 30 minutes. There was substantial damage to the home. On Thursday around 4 a.m., firefighters were also at 1388 Bretton St. In that fire, one person was taken to the hospital with a minor injury. There is no word on the cause on either of the fires.
