Flames shot out of the roof of a townhouse in Fayetteville on Tuesday night, causing residents of the complex to evacuate. The fire broke out at a complex on Winding Creek Road just after 8 p.m. No one was hurt. A woman who came to the unit Wednesday morning said she and four family members lived there. She said no one was home at the time of the fire. The family has a place to stay, she said.
