Victim Identified Following Mobile Home Fire in Mount Olive

Authorities have identified the person found dead following a Mount Olive mobile home fire. According to the Mount Olive Police Department, 63-year-old Addie Rae Truzys of Mount Olive was found dead inside the single-wide mobile home after firefighters extinguished Tuesday’s blaze on the 100 block of Cleveland Drive. Firefighters from Mount Olive, Dudley, Calypso, Oak Wolfe and Smith Chapel were called to battle the blaze late Tuesday afternoon. Truzys’ cause of death has not been determined, and the investigation into the fire and death is ongoing. The Mount Olive Police Department, Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, State Bureau of Investigation, State Fire Marshall, ATF, and Office of Emergency Services are all involved in the investigation.
