Duartes Auto Sales, 1240 E. Webb Ave., Burlington, was damaged by fire early Thursday morning, July 11.
Burlington firefighters responded at 3:30 a.m. after staff found the building and several cars in the parking lot burning, the Fire Department said.
No one was inside at the time, and the fire was under control in about 30 minutes. The fire did about $125,000 worth of damage to the building and $75,000 worth to the contents, the department said.
The cause is under investigation. Burlington police and Duke Energy assisted.
