A construction worker died at Winston-Salem State University on Wednesday after suffering cardiac arrest on the fifth floor of the unfinished sciences building, authorities said. Crews with the Winston-Salem Fire Department responded with ladder trucks for a high-angle rescue, according to a tweet from the fire department.
