A GoFundMe page has been set up to raise money for a soon-to-be bride and her groom who jumped from their second floor North Carolina apartment early Monday morning to escape a deadly blaze.
Lauren Brintle and Charles Moore went to bed around 11 p.m. Sunday and woke up during the early morning hours to find flames surrounding their Dobson home.

"We just heard banging and shouting," Brintle said. "I thought somebody was breaking in and he got up and went to the door and said, 'We gotta go. Get out. There’s a fire.'”
Moore said it didn't take long for his instincts to kick in. The couple had no choice except to jump, wearing only their pajamas and bathrobes.
“Hers and my safety -- that’s about it. They try to train you for a lot of things in the military but when you pull open your home door and there’s a fire right there, your soon-to-be family is in danger. You just have to react. That’s pretty much what I did,” Moore said.
Moore jumped first, injuring his hand, but quickly turned to catch his fiancée.
