Multiple fire departments were sent to a mobile home in Morganton after receiving reports of visible fire and multiple explosions coming from the home.
On Tuesday night around 10 p.m. , Triple Community Engine 4 arrived on scene to a burning single-wide mobile home located at 2929 Shell Drive, said a press release from TCFD.
“There were no occupants or pets inside the home,” the release said. “The explosions that were heard we believe at this time were from aerosol cans overheating and exploding.”
