PHOTOS: Firefighters from Horry County, South Carolina have been called in to assist firefighters in North Carolina battle several house fires in Ocean Isle just hours after the eyewall from Hurricane Isaias passed over the town. Horry County Fire Department tweeted at least four pictures of fires in the town. The eye of Isaias made landfall over Ocean Isle Beach around 11:30 p.m. Monday. Horry County reported firefighters responding to the fires about two hours later. Mayor Debbie Smith told WECT News there were four fires on Driftwood Drive and another on East 4th Street. Smith says flooding reached three feet in some portions of the community. So far, there have been no serious injuries from the fires reported.
