A family of three and their dog were woken up by a fire in their apartment early Tuesday. Crystal Lilly said she was sleeping when her son and her neighbor woke her up just after midnight to alert her of the fire. Lilly, her sons (ages 16 and 21) and their dog got out safely. Firefighters responded to the building at 2310 Cumberland Gap Drive and extinguished the fire in the second-floor apartment. The fire is under investigation, but crews believe it was electrical and was caused by wiring in the ceiling. Officials said the damage was contained to the ceiling above living room. A total of 12 units in the apartment building were evacuated
