An electrical fire on Monday displaced a family of three in the 7100 block of Daysprings Drive, according to the Fayetteville Fire Department. The fire started where power enters the home at the meter base and spread inside the wall, fire officials said. Firefighters remained on the scene until a crew from Fayetteville Public Works Commission disconnected the power. The American Red Cross was called in to assist the family, according to a news release.
