A house fire in Waynesville is under investigation after a family was displaced on Saturday morning. The Waynesville fire department responded to a fire on Riverbend Street around 10:19 a.m. on March 21. Two adults, four kids, and a dog were displaced by the fire. Officials have reported no injuries. Firefighters were able to get the fire under control in 15 minutes. Authorities say the Red Cross is helping the family who owned the home. They say the house is not a total loss. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
