PHOTO: No one was injured overnight in a boat fire at a Lake Norman marina.
On Friday after 3 a.m., fire departments from Cornelius and Huntersville responded to Kings Point Marina, where multiple boats were on fire.
Firefighters were able to cut nearby boats loose and extinguish the fire quickly.
According to a Facebook post from the fire department, while several boats were charred, the fire did not "devastate" the marina.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
