A home on the corner of Maywood Avenue and Fayetteville Street was completely destroyed by flames at around 1 a.m. Saturday. There was nothing left but the foundation after the fire tore through the building. Firefighters worked on the scene to put out hotspots in the area after the fire dissipated.
