Asheville fire crews are on the scene of a structure fire along Haywood Street. The fire was dispatched at around 7:30 a.m. Thursday morning for a working structure fire at 271 Haywood Street. The Asheville Fire Department says the fire has extended into the attic and walls and confirms there was a partial roof collapse upon arrival. As of 8:05 a.m. Asheville Fire says the fire is out. Crews remain on scene.
