A fire at a north Raleigh apartment forced dozens of residents out of their homes Thursday night for the fourth time in less than 30 days. Firefighters said this fire caused more damage than the other fires at the Bridges at North Hills complex, damaging 15% of the building and leaving two apartments uninhabitable. The other fires occurred on Aug. 17, Aug. 19 and Sept. 1. Crews responded to Thursday night's fire on Lake Hill Drive after 9:30 p.m. Fire officials said 24 apartments in the building were impacted and between 50 and 75 people are displaced. The American Red Cross was still at the apartment complex at 4 a.m. helping people find a place to sleep. Everyone in building 662 had to leave overnight because power was turned off in the building.
