VIDEO: A fire in a Wake County home claimed the life of one man and injured another person Monday night.
After 5 p.m., fire crews in Wake County responded to a fire call at Castlebrook Drive where the man lived.
The man was identified by family members as 73-year-old George Rizk.
Fire crews were able to rescue a woman from the burning home.
The area is an unincorporated area of Raleigh where fire suppression systems are limited.
"Fire suppression systems [like] fire hydrants are limited in the neighborhood," said Keith Sanders, Rizk's neighbor.
With little access to fire hydrants, the neighborhood depends on tanker trucks and assistance from other jurisdictions.
