Morrill woman killed in Tuesday's collision west of Scottsbluff

One person was killed Tuesday afternoon in a two car collision west of Scottsbluff. Marlyn Eppenbach, 86, of Morrill, died in the collision, which occurred at about 4:14 p.m. Eppenbach was the the driver of a blue 2005 Dodge Neon and was southbound on County Road 19 when she failed to yield the right of way to make a left hand turn into the eastbound lanes of Highway 26. Her vehicle was struck by a white Ford sedan, driven by Michael Wagoner, 46, traveling west on Highway 26, according to information released by the Nebraska State Patrol. Wagoner suffered injuries and was transported to Regional West, but further details were not available. He is not listed in the hospital's directory
