Several agencies and fire departments remain on scene Wednesday after two fires reignited Tuesday afternoon. As of 9 a.m. Wednesday, the Whitetail Fire has burned 8 acres and is contained. The 201 East Fire has burned 100 acres and is still burning. District Ranger Julie Bain said today will be a key day and expect to make good progress. However, they are remaining cautiously optimistic due to tomorrow’s red flag warnings. Once again, structures or private property are not at risk at this time. The Whitetail Campground and the ATV trails are closed.
