PHOTOS: Multiple families are displaced after a fire ripped through a condominium causing extensive damage to five units in Bedminster on Friday.
On April 5 at 4:24 p.m., volunteer firefighters from the Far Hills-Bedminster Fire Department went to Encampment Drive to find heavy fire involving both the interior and exterior of four units on the C side (rear), said Fire Chief Carson Brienza.
"Bulk of the body of fire was knocked quickly after arrival, with water on the fire in under 2 minutes from the first fire engine being on the scene. Fire was marked under control at the 1 hour mark, with overhaul commencing shortly thereafter," said Brienza.
As a result, extensive damage was reported in the units directly involved in the fire, but limited to those units.
