The Plainsboro Fire District will hold its annual election on Saturday, Feb. 16. During the election voters will have an opportunity to vote on the fire district budget and elect two candidates to the Plainsboro Board of Fire Commissioners. This year’s budget is $2.14 million, a decrease over the 2018 budget, which was $3.28 million and included a capital expansion program for the fire station. The fire district tax rate, which has not increased in several years, will remain at 5 cents per $100 of assessed valuation. Running for election to two three-year seats on the Board of Commissioners are Michele Holder Myers of Fox Run Drive and incumbents Michael Ruskuski of Ravens Crest Drive and Ted Wagner of Linden Lane.
