A two-alarm fire broke out in an apartment building in Middlesex County early morning, forcing the evacuation of residents as firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze. The fire began shortly after 4 a.m. in the building on Forest Glen Drive in Highland Park, firefighters said. News video showed firefighters from several departments at the scene. No injuries were reported. The fire was under control in about an hour, firefighters said.
