An 82-year-old Passaic County woman died Wednesday after the car she was driving crashed into a concrete median, authorities said.
Mei-Lien Young of Wayne lost control of her car and crashed about 8:30 a.m. in the area of Hamburg Turnpike and Valley Road in Wayne, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Young was alone in the car and there were no other vehicles involved in the crash, investigators said. Police said she was taken to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, where she died about 3:20 p.m.
