A Wayne man was charged with aggravated arson after setting a vehicle on fire in Bergen County, authorities said Tuesday. Lyndhurst police found a Ford Escape engulfed in flames just after 9 p.m. May 12, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office. The Lyndhurst Fire Department extinguished the blaze. An investigation determined that Christopher Baulch deliberately set the fire, authorities said. The news release from the prosecutor's office and the criminal complaint for Baulch's arrest didn't list any potential motive. A spokesperson for the prosecutor's office said they couldn't provide additional information on the case. Surveillance footage showed Baulch, 43, intentionally setting fire to the vehicle while it was parked on Cleveland Avenue, the complaint says.
