At approximately 12.45 p.m. today, LAFD responded to reports of a small wildland fire in LA Canyon, on West Road near the Ice Rink. The fire is fully contained and the cause is under investigation by LAFD. Crews are mopping up at the scene. The Pajarito Ski Hill and some homes near Fairway and Trinity Drive are without power. The Department of Public Utilities’ electric linemen anticipate that power will be restored by 4 p.m. today.
