A dog is recovering Monday after being rescued over the weekend. Bernalillo County Fire Department firefighters posted a photo fo Facebook showing them carrying a dog to safety. BCFD says it happened Saturday afternoon in the Tunnel Canyon area in the East Mountains. Initially, the two hikers got lost, but when fire crews got to them they learned their 14-year-old dog was exhausted and could no longer walk.
